James Schell

James serves as the Senior Manager for the Middle East and North Africa with Habitat for Humanity International. Bringing 15+ years’ experience in the humanitarian & development sector, James brings a thematic focus on shelter & settlements, resilience and urban programming, with experience in program management, strategy & partnership development and support to country offices. James has been engaged with the Habitat for Humanity network for 9 years, initially focused on Asia Pacific, and more recently in the Middle East & North Africa. Aside from working with various other NGOs and the Red Cross & Red Crescent movement over the last 15 years, James has both undergraduate and postgraduate qualifications in international development and humanitarian assistance, and is currently completing a Masters of Urban and Regional Planning.
